Our story
On the Run Since 1949
Opened in 1949, Chicken On the Run started as a chicken delivery service. The deliveries are long gone, but the strong neighborhood presence never left.
Today it's a CHEERS-type neighborhood spot with a laid-back vibe — part family restaurant, part sports bar. Kids are welcome, and it's a bar/restaurant where the goal is to make everyone comfortable.
Good food and good vibes is what we offer. To gather, eat and drink — that's been the idea on the sign all along.
